Wireless Network Engineer

• Diploma / Degree holder
• Good understanding of Wireless concept and its integration with existing networks.
• Should have good knowledge and experience of doing Wireless survey and documentation.
• Engineers should have hands-on experience with wireless Survey tools like Air Magnet, Ekahau & Fluke.
• 802.11b/g/n, 802.11 a/n and 802.11ac wireless implementations, configuration.
• Troubleshooting client connection, authentication, disconnection, roaming and latency issues.
• 802.11ac, 802.11n, 802.11i, 802.1x, 802.11e, LWAPP/CAPWAP, 802.11r, 802.11w and EAP.
• Wireless Mesh configuration, troubleshooting and optimization on multiple projects.
• Must have good exposure into designing and deployment.
• Hands-on experience in routing protocols like BGP, MPLS and OSPF.
• Clear understanding of Ethernet, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, SD-WAN
• Knowledge and experience on SRX and PaloAlto FW Products and networking would be a plus
• Knowledge and experience on Cisco routing & Switching Products and networking
• Sound knowledge about Cloud Architecture (AWS OR Azure) would be a plus
• Design and Deployment in SDWAN will be an advantage.
• Strong business acumen with strong interests in keeping up-to-date with current technologies
• Good verbal and written communication and presentation, negotiation skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• CCIE or CCNP holder has a great advantage (SP experience is most important) & would be plus
• Min 5 yrs of experience in Network design, development & implementation,.
• Builds customer simulations in test labs to resolve/validate complex problems and compatibility issues
• Creates and delivers customer-facing collateral, documentation and knowledge transfer
• Aligns technical deliverables to customer business outcomes
• Drives customer technology transitions, influencing solution architectures and services
• Creates and presents deployment plans for large & complex deployment projects
• Complies with and supports company policies and processes and utilizes relevant tools to effectively execute the role and support Customer Experience” strategies and goals

• Broad technical knowledge of the data centre and its components: Applications, Storage, Network, Server and projects surrounding their planning, design, implementation, operation, and optimization.
• Networking: OSI Layer 2 (Spanning tree, vPC, EtherChannel, VLAN, etc), Layer 3 switching /routing (OSPF, EIGRP, ISIS, BGP, MPLS, IPv4/6), DNS/DHCP WAN/ISP, network virtualization (VRF), basics of higher layer protocols: SSL/TLS, HTTP, real-time traffic (voice/video), NFS, database access protocols.
• Solid understanding of the end-to-end IT process, including architecture, design & engineering, implementation, and operations; Excellent written and verbal communications skills: ability to communicate technology strategy and architecture approach to engineers, executives, and customers.
• Works extensively with customers along with appropriate internal and external resources (e.g. account teams, partners) on the strategy/ deployment/ optimization of Network services and solutions.
• Improves solutions and methods developed in the field for use to the wider practice (knowledge sharing & reusability).
• Creates, reviews and approves project deliverables e.g. Design recommendations, High Level Design, Low Level Design, Implementation/ Change Management Plans.
• Builds and/or leverage test environments as required to resolve highly complex problems and compatibility issues
