Sr. DevOps Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Linux / DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing our current technology stack, developing strategies for improvement and expansion, and working on automation and optimization of our development, release, and support processes. You will also be expected to manage stakeholder relationships, understand customer requirements, and troubleshoot and fix code bugs as needed. Responsibilities:

• Analyze current technology stack and develop strategies for improvement and expansion, ensuring optimal performance and scalability

• Implement automation and optimization solutions for development, release, and support processes, reducing manual intervention and increasing efficiency

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and stakeholders, to ensure seamless integration and smooth operations

• Understand and translate customer requirements into effective and efficient solutions

• Define, implement, and maintain development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operations, adhering to industry best practices

• Troubleshoot and fix code bugs, utilizing effective problem-solving techniques and collaborating with team members when necessary

• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively address potential issues before they become critical

• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and continuously work towards improving skills and knowledge

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Strong experience with ECS & EKS Clusters.

• Proven experience in DevOps, CI/CD, and automation tools such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible

• Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

• Proficient in at least one programming language, such as Python, Ruby, or Java

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as ELK Stack, Prometheus, or Grafana

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban

• Knowledge of network protocols and security best practices

• Relevant industry certifications, such as Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC), Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
