SQL DBA

•5+ years in SQL Server database administration

•Install, configure, upgrade, and administer SQL Server database engine, SQL Server Service Broker, SQL Server Integration Services, SQL Server Analysis Services, and/or SQL Server Reporting Services.

•Manage and Upgrade/Install database-related clustered and stand-alone servers in both physical and virtual environments

•Expertise with SQL Server 2008-2019.

•Experience with HADR (High Availability / Disaster Recovery), Always On and Failover Clusters

•Configure database backups in accordance with customer requirements.

•Perform database recoveries as required.

•Perform daily checks of databases, backups, exports, jobs, and storage.

•Monitor SQL environments for health and performance

•Troubleshoot databases, schemas, and user accounts.

•Manage and optimize the performance of the databases for our critical systems;

•Manage backup, restore, and archive procedures of database servers

•Ensure security and data integrity of all database environments

•Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues

•Able to communicate effectively to multiple levels of an organization, including internal, customers, and vendors

•Ability to perform repeatable tasks at scale

•Strong documentation skills

•Working in structured change management processes, ability to follow internal rules and regulations

•Strong technical aptitude and ability to research and solve complex issues independently

•Strong understanding in Cloud Technology and experience in deployments or migrations in Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure preferred
